Privacy Policy
Effective September 29, 2026
This website, themanlyjournal.com, is operated by 318 Records ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site and how it's used.
Information we collect
Automatically, when you visit. We use the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). It uses cookies and similar technology to collect information such as the pages you view, the buttons you click (for example, "Buy on Amazon" or "Request Bulk Pricing"), your browser and device type, and your IP address. Our hosting provider, Netlify, may also keep standard server logs.
Information you give us. If you request bulk pricing, the form (hosted by Google Forms) collects the details you enter, such as your name, email, phone, church or group name, and shipping address. If you sign up for the Companion Kit or updates by text, your phone number is collected through Laylo, our text messaging provider, and used to send you the kit and occasional updates about The Manly Journal. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time.
Purchases. Individual copies are sold through Amazon. We don't receive or store your payment information; Amazon's own privacy policy applies to those purchases. Bulk orders are paid through Square invoices, and Square's privacy policy applies to that payment.
How we use it
- To respond to bulk order requests, send invoices, and ship your order.
- To understand how visitors use the site and improve it.
- To show relevant ads for The Manly Journal on Facebook and Instagram, including to people who have visited this site, and to measure how well those ads work.
We don't sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only the services that help us run the site and fill orders: Meta (advertising and measurement), Google (bulk order form), Netlify (website hosting), Square (payments), and Amazon or our printer when shipping books. Each handles your information under its own privacy policy. We may also share information if required by law.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- You can control ads you see on Facebook and Instagram in your Meta ad preferences.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete information you submitted through our form by contacting us (below).
Children
This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
